Singer/actress Jiyeon has announced a break from her activities on YouTube.
On June 20 KST, relayed the following update via her Instagram.
"Hello, this is Jiyeon.
Due to personal reasons, it will be difficult for me to upload new videos on YouTube, and so I would like to ask my subscribers for your understanding.
I will return with a bright smile once again.
Thank you."
After marrying baseball player Hwang Jae Gyun in 2022, Jiyeon has been active as a YouTuber sharing her daily life as a wife. However, recently, Hwang Jae Gyun has been facing criticism from baseball fans for his "attitude issues" after he was involved in several bench clearing incidents with his team, the KT Wiz. The issue escalated until netizens were leaving malicious comments on Jiyeon's YouTube and Instagram, concerning fans of the singer.
Meanwhile, Jiyeon is currently preparing to hold a 15th anniversary fan meeting with her group T-ara.
