Jin has topped individual male K-Pop idol brand value rankings for the month of BTS, June.
In order to determine this month's brand value rankings, the Korea Brand Reputation Research Institute analyzed big data of 730 individual male K-Pop idols in areas including consumer participation, media activity, communication, and community activity.
Topping the rankings at #1 this month was BTS's oldest hyung Jin, who successfully wrapped up his mandatory military service duties on June 12 KST. The idol earned 3,865,321 points, a massive jump from his 1,263,604 points earned in May.
ASTRO member and actor Cha Eun Woo ranked in second place with 3,604,710 points, followed by another BTS member, Jimin, in third place with 2,258,664 points.
Here are the top 30 individual male K-Pop idols in terms of brand value rankings for June: BTS's Jin, ASTRO's Cha Eun Woo, BTS's Jimin, Kang Daniel, BTS's Jungkook, BTS's V, The Boyz's Younghoon, RIIZE's Wonbin, BTS's RM, Shinhwa's Minwoo, BTS's j-hope, BTS's SUGA, Seventeen's Hoshi, EXO's Baekhyun, Highlight's Doojoon, Seventeen's Jeonghan, Seventeen's Mingyu, SHINee's Taemin, Super Junior's Kyuhyun, SHINee's Onew, SHINee, Minho, The Boyz's Juyeon, SHINee's Key, Seventeen's Wonwoo, The Boyz's Sunwoo, NCT's Mark, Hwang Min Hyun, NCT's Doyoung, Park Ji Hoon, and Ong Seong Wu.
Prediction: EVERY BTS member who will be getting discharged from the military will go #1 in Individual Male Kpop Brand Reputation Rankings for the same month as their discharge. That's how relevant they still are even after completing their mandatory military service(as opposed to some who claim BTS' popularity will now be in shambles due to HYBE's recent company debacles). And yes, many people would find that maddening 🤣
