Brown Eyed Girls' Ga In has shared an update on her life, four years after halting her activities.
Recently, all members of Brown Eyed Girls, including Narsha, JeA, and Ga In, appeared on the KFN radio show 'Miryo's Freestyle' and engaged in conversations on various topics.
On the show, Ga In caught attention with her cute hairstyle, featuring short hair with waves.
When asked about her current situation, Ga In said, "I am still dieting and taking care of myself."
In response, JeA burst into laughter and asked, "You're still dieting?" and DJ Miryo commented, "It seems like the diet is going well. You're wearing a hot outfit."
Ga In explained, "I am maintaining my figure by following a diet plan. Although it’s not concrete yet, I am managing my stamina and appearance in various ways, preparing to show a good image to everyone as soon as possible."
After hearing that Ga In is preparing to show something to everyone, Miryo asked, "Solo (activities)?" Ga In replied, "I am trying various things. This time, I tried a perm. My pet dog was so surprised that he didn't recognize me at first." Ga In added, "I am experimenting with different looks and trying to figure out what visual style looks best. If this doesn't work out, I might try long hair. I am in a phase of trying many new things."
Following the radio show, fans are anticipating Ga In's return to the music industry with new activities and expressed their excitement online.
Meanwhile, Ga In debuted with Brown Eyed Girls in 2006 and received much love with hit songs like "Abracadabra," "L.O.V.E," and "How Come." In 2009, she gained attention by appearing on the MBC variety show 'We Got Married' with 2AM's Jo Kwon. Ga In then transitioned to a solo singer in 2010, with songs like "Irreversible."
In July and August of 2019, Ga In was fined in early 2021 for violating the Narcotics Control Act after administering propofol in Gyeonggi Province. She halted her activities in April 2020.
At that time, her agency Mystic Story apologized for Ga In's propofol use and explained, "She had been suffering from severe pain, depression, and severe sleep disorders due to accumulated injuries from her activities, which led to her making an imprudent choice."
Although I would love to see her on stage once again, I don't really care if she doesn't in order to maintain her health. Please take care, we will wait whatever it takes you to bring us some new music. Even if you don't promote it.
