On June 10, Belift Lab released a video on its official YouTube channel in an attempt to refute the accusations that ILLIT had plagiarized NewJeans. The company released a video titled, "Belift Lab's position on plagiarism allegations," and argued against ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin's accusation.
The video featured various officials from Belift Lab, including CEO Kim Tae Ho, Deputy CEO Choi Yoon Hyuk, visual director Heo Se Ryun, and performance director Myung Sang Woo. They presented various materials arguing that ILLIT was a group with original concepts and inspiration, drawing a unique narrative.
However, the video drew criticism as the officials argued that other groups were copying NewJeans and vice versa.
Currently, the controversial video has over 26,000 comments, with the vast majority of them being negative.
Some have speculated that Belief Lab has been deleting negative comments in real-time.
Regarding this, Belief Lab emphasized in a pinned comment on June 11, "Belief Lab has not deleted any comments on the position video," and " "The claim that Belief Lab is selectively deleting specific comments is false. We are preparing to take legal action, including gathering evidence, against those spreading this malicious misinformation."

They just need to delete the video. They should have never made it in the first place they didn't really clear up anything. The video backfired badly, and the general consensus from both sides is its a bad video. They got 9k likes to 100k dislikes and 41k comments clowning on them.
