Actor Byun Woo Seok's popularity breaks into the US Billboard chart

According to the latest chart released by Billboard, "Sudden Shower" by Eclipse climbed to 199th place on the Billboard Global 200 chart.

"Sudden Shower" is a song sung by the band Eclipse (ECLIPSE) to which Ryu Sun Jae (played by Byun Woo Seok) belongs in the drama 'Lovely Runner'. It is a self-composed song written by Ryu Sun Jae, reminiscing about his first love, Im Sol (played by Kim Hye Yoon).

The Global 200 chart ranks based on streaming and music sales from over 200 regions worldwide, excluding local radio broadcast scores in the United States. It is unusual for a drama OST to enter the major Billboard charts.

"Sudden Shower" is also making waves on major domestic music charts. As of the morning of June 5 KST, it rose to 4th place on the Melon Top 100 chart, proving its popularity following acts like aespa and NewJeans.

The tvN drama 'Lovely Runner' is a time-slip romance about a passionate fan, Im Sol who, in despair after losing the famous singer Ryu Sun Jae, who had given her the will to live, travels back to 2008 to save him.
