SEVENTEEN has meaningfully celebrated their 9th debut anniversary by contributing to a significant cause.
The Korean Committee for UNESCO announced on the 28th that SEVENTEEN made a donation on their debut anniversary, the 26th, earmarked as "Global Education Environment Fund." This fund will be utilized for educational campaigns including the expansion of the #GoingTogether initiative and the hosting of the 'UNESCO Forum on the Future of Education.'
SEVENTEEN expressed, "Being able to participate in such a meaningful cause on our debut anniversary, which is as special to us as our own birthdays, is both rewarding and gratifying."
Since their debut in 2015, SEVENTEEN has continued various forms of philanthropy, especially focusing on children and youth on their debut anniversaries.
Since 2022, they have been actively involved in UNESCO's GoingTogether campaign, contributing to educational reconstruction in Malawi, Africa, and the construction of a learning center in East Timor.
Moreover, SEVENTEEN exerted their influence as global speakers at the 13th UNESCO Youth Forum held at the UNESCO headquarters in France last November.
In other news, SEVENTEEN is set to perform next month at the Glastonbury Festival, which kicks off at Worthy Farm in Somerset, UK.
