Rising actor Byun Woo Seok's past film 'Soulmate' is in talks to re-release due to his popularity.
On May 25, film distribution company NEW released a statement on the possible re-release. NEW stated, "We're currently in talks with movie theaters on the re-release of 'Soulmate'. The theater requested it first. We're discussing specific schedules and events."
'Soulmate', released in March of 2023, tells the story of first loves and their journey to becoming an adult. The film stars Byun Woo Seok, Kim Da Mi, and Jeon Son Yi, and Byun Woo Seok's rise to fame following the popularity of the tvN drama 'Lovely Runner' is fueling talks for the movie's re-release.

If the movie can garner a wider audience due to him blowing up right now with "Lovely Runner", then by all means go ahead an release it. It was a really great coming of age story with strong performances from the cast. Highly recommended! His acting in "20th Century Girl" was great too, even if the movie completely broke me.
