Following the latest BBC documentary covering the Burning Sun scandal, online users have flocked to Zico's Instagram account to fill the comment section with questions about Jung Joon Young's golden phone.

Earlier this week, the BBC released an hour-long documentary focusing on the female journalists who investigated the secret chat groups of prominent K-pop stars and the Burning Sun scandal.

The documentary primarily centered on the group chat, where certain K-pop idols exchanged illicitly captured photos and videos.

After the documentary's release, numerous Korean netizens turned their focus toward Zico, notable for his friendship with Jung Joon Young. This was prompted by Zico's prior mention, in 2016, of Jung Joon Young possessing a "golden phone."

Zico appeared on the January 27, 2016, episode of  'Radio Star' with Jung Joon Young. During that time, Zico shared, "(Jung Joon Young) has a 'golden phone.' It's not his main phone but it's a phone he uses for emergencies and only uses it for Kakaotalk messenger." Zico continued, "But it's like a Pokémon Pokédex. It has a lot of people's (contacts) saved on it."

Zico then turned to Jung Joon Young to ask, "You don't have it anymore, right?" and Jung Joon Young refuted, "I still have it. (Zico) comes to my house and suddenly asks, 'Hyung, where is that golden phone?' He then takes the phone and lays on my bed looking through that phone as if it's his."

During the broadcast, Zico and Jung Joon Young did not share the details of why that phone is only used for Kakatalk messenger and why it's called the 'golden phone.'

Now, Korean netizens are flocking to Zico's Instagram to leave comments inquiring about the "golden phone" he had mentioned on the show.

They left comments such as:
