NewJeans' music video director Shin Hee Won spoke up in the midst of HYBE and Min Hee Jin's ongoing conflict.

Shin Hee Won is known as the director of NewJeans' music videos for "Attention", "Hurt", and "Super Shy" along with other notable MVs like f(x)'s "4 Walls" and BTOB's "Missing You". The MV director spoke up on behalf of ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin despite recent allegations she's not as caring of the NewJeans' members as she portrays herself to be.

Director Shin Hee Won wrote on social media as follows:

"Should I even say it's amusing? Our country's top entertainment company,
after much deliberation, comes out swinging over who insulted who. I
wish the end of that article had been at least a bit funny. I don't even
know what they were trying to say with their unfunny childishness and
ridiculous attacks. Who were they trying to pit against each other with
such endless nonsense? If they really believed they were right, did they
have to churn out such cringe-worthy articles? And if they give a year
and a half holiday to kids who've barely been debuting for a year, isn't
that the time when some will be remembered and others forgotten? Who
will be remembered during that time? During the noisy past, I silently
watched, hoping CEO Min Hee Jin wouldn't get hurt. It was a fight I
didn't understand. But today's article was truly bewildering and absurd.
As someone who knows better than anyone how Min Hee Jin feels about the
kids, I write this in frustration and confusion. Poor kids."
