On May 31 at 2:30 PM KST, CEO Min Hee Jin of ADOR appeared at a press conference to address the decisions reached at the extraordinary shareholder's meeting which occurred earlier on this day.
Appearing in front of the press with a smile on her face, Min Hee Jin began, "My heart feels light because I am here after winning my case. There are many reasons for holding this press conference, but first and foremost, I wanted to relay my thoughts on the current situation."
She continued, "For starters, I would like to thank many people. These recent events were some of the hardest days of my life, events I never wish to go through again. But despite the difficult times, I was able to get through it because of many people. To my acquaintances, to those who cheered me on, especially to those who expressed concerns over my livelihood even though you do not know me, thank you. Of course, not everyone had good things to say, but still, I do not know how to express my gratitude." The producer then teared up as she went on.
"I may be the president of a subsidiary company under HYBE Labels, but the position that I consider my main position is that of ADOR's CEO. And there are times when my role as CEO of ADOR and my role as the president of a subsidiary encounter conflicting interests. They accused ADOR of embezzlement, and I just went, how can it be embezzlement? I am here to fulfill my duties as CEO of ADOR," Min Hee Jin explained.
She added on, "Because my name was cleared of the accusations, I do feel like a weight is off of me. Whether the person is actually guilty or not, a person can become a criminal just by having someone accusing them as the perpetrator of some problem. Because I did not consider this fair, I filed an injunction. And the injunction was approved, so from my end, I feel like I can lay down some of the burden. There are still some people who misunderstand and who want to misinterpret my intentions, but greed over a position or money was never the focal point of this whole situation."
Min Hee Jin then emphasized, "Now that my name has been cleared, I have more room to make decisions, but what I wish for is to fulfill what I envisioned fulfilling with the team NewJeans, to make true the vision that I drew with the members of NewJeans. If you tell me to give up money in exchange for that vision, I will. The vision that we drew up is more important to me."
She also revealed, "It was painful for me when I realized that if I were removed from my position, that also meant that my vision would be dashed. It would also lead to serious financial losses. We are preparing for a concert at the Tokyo Dome in June, and a world tour for next year. To put together the setlist, we also had plans to release music at the end of the year. Because this conflict lasted for the last month, it was difficult to focus on those plans."
Here, Min Hee Jin asked, "I would like to ask that you let me carry out my plans for NewJeans. I was hurt, and the members were also hurt by these events. If I had my way, I would reset everything to zero and just go back to my work."
Regarding the two former ADOR board members who were dismissed during the shareholder's meeting, Min Hee Jin stated, "I believe that the board members will continue to work for ADOR. They are some of the founding members of ADOR and people who are needed at this company, so they will continue to work for ADOR."
Continuing to address questions from the press, Min Hee Jin further revealed, "I would like to suggest a reconciliation to HYBE. I wasn't the one who started this fight, but I am taking this opportunity to express my intention to remain at ADOR as CEO. If I were thinking only of my own future, I would choose otherwise. But if I continue to work toward the plans I envisioned with the NewJeans members, I do not believe that it will bring losses to anyone. I want to suggest a rational approach. I was also hurt emotionally by recent events."

Very messy situation and so many people/groups thrown under the bus.
