Lee Seung Gi revealed his grievances against former agency Hook Entertainment in court.

The singer and actor has been in an ongoing legal dispute against Hook Entertainment for unpaid earnings, and on May 25, his new label Big Planet Made Entertainment revealed Lee Seung Gi had appeared at the civil suit hearing at the Seoul Central District Court the previous day. 

According to Big Planet Made Entertainment, Lee Seung Gi revealed his grievances during the hearing, stating, "They all made me out to be a bad person who only likes money. I feel so betrayed." He further stated, "Kwon Jin Young (founder and CEO of Hook Entertainment) was very angry when I mentioned the money issue from the beginning. She abused my underage status and the fact that I had no social experience, using abusive language and assault. I only now know that it was gaslighting. I hope this won't be repeated again, and there won't be any victims like me."

Big Planet Made Entertainment also stated, "We will provide strong support for the fight to ensure that juniors will never experience the same thing as Lee Seung Gi, who has been gaslighted as a 'minus singer' by CEO Kwon Jin Young for the past 20 years." When the court ordered Hook Entertainment to submit related settlement data, Hook Entertainment reportedly refused to submit the data due to "business secrets." 

Big Planet Made continued, "Hook Entertainment admitted in court that all agencies had to make separate accounting books for each celebrity under the 'Pop Culture and Arts Industry Act' of 2014, but they did not even do this."
