Earlier this week on May 9, a new variety show drew attention for its interesting premise.
On the new ENA variety program 'I Woke Up And...' (literal translation), guests are suddenly thrown into a new life in an unfamiliar place, and must survive while logging their experiences. On the first episode aired on May 9, guests Kim Dong Hyun and Kwon Eun Bi "woke up one day" and suddenly found themselves living new lives.
First, Kim Dong Hyun, who momentarily blanked out while filming a kickboxing lesson, woke up to find that he had become a trolley driver in Hanoi. Kwon Eun Bi, on the other hand, woke up and found herself in a classroom full of sleeping students. She quickly found out that she had become a high schooler in Taiwan.
In particular, many viewers were intrigued by the high school culture in Taiwan, as shown through Kwon Eun Bi's first day there. Having become a student at Juang Jing International Art High School in Taipei, Kwon Eun Bi shared, "In Taiwanese schools, they have nap time between noon to 12:30."
Later on, Kwon Eun Bi also visited a bakery inside the school, with baked goods made by the students themselves. She then hid the snacks in her desk and ate quietly during lessons, causing laughter.
Kwon Eun Bi also revealed her wishes to experience "high school romance", something she did not have a chance to experience in her "real life".
