On the May 24 broadcast of the KBS2 variety program 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant', singer Kim Jaejoong revealed that he enjoys cooking side dishes for his large family of 32, shocking the show's MCs and panelists.
On this day, Kim Jaejoong celebrated his appearance on a major broadcasting station variety program for the first time in 15 years, commenting, "I think my parents will love this. Since I don't appear on TV broadcasts often, I'm sure my parents will want to watch this. You're watching, right mom?"
Next, Kim Jaejoong shared that he began taking an interest in cooking at 9-years old. "My mother owned a gamja-tang (pork back-bone stew) restaurant. I would watch her cook in the restaurant kitchen, and then when she went out for deliveries, I served the customers," the singer explained.
Later on, Kim Jaejoong began bulk preparing a side dish made of sliced white radish. Revealing that he would be making a lot to share the dish with his family, Kim Jaejoong called up one of his 8 older sisters. When the show's panelists heard that Kim Jaejoong had 8 sisters, they could not hide their shock, asking, "You have 8 older sisters..?"
But that wasn't all, as Kim Jaejoong continued, "All of my sisters are married, so I also have 8 brothers-in-law." Here, a great family photo of Kim Jaejoong, his parents, his sisters, and brothers-in-law was shown, once again shocking the 'Fun-Staurant' panelists who remarked, "Isn't this from a drama?".
Kim Jaejoong further added on, "And then my nieces and nephews. Do I have 12... or 13 nieces and nephews? I can't remember. Anyways, if you add me, my mom and dad, my sisters, my brothers-in-law, and all my nieces and nephews, it's a family of 32."
In the studio, Kim Jaejoong also pointed out another "frightening"(?) fact that he did not mention. He said, "So my nieces and nephews are starting to get married now. If they start having kids, I will become a great-uncle soon."
To this, MC Boom responded, "You will be a K-Pop idol great-uncle."

I got into kpop in 2008 because of dbsk, honestly this made my day! So cute and I'm happy that he likes helping them and has a happy life.
(I know his biological parents gave him grief and upset him by turning up out the blue one day when he became famous, hoping to get money from him. They should stay far away from him as possible.)
