Trot singer Kim Ho-joong is under investigation for attempting to have a junior employee at his agency handle a DUI accident he caused. On the night of May 9th at around 11:45 PM, Kim, while under the influence, crashed his vehicle into a parked taxi and fled the scene.

According to MBN's investigation, police have uncovered evidence that Kim made multiple calls to a junior staff member, identified only as Mr. A, asking him to manage the aftermath of the accident on his behalf. Another agency representative, identified as Mr. B, also reportedly made several calls to Mr. A for the same purpose.

Mr. A, who is not Kim’s manager, ultimately refused to comply with the requests, citing fear as his reason. This behavior contrasts sharply with the agency's previous statements claiming Kim was too panicked after the accident to handle the situation.

The police are focusing on establishing the facts as they suspect that after failing to get Mr. A to cover up the incident, Kim's side resorted to having his manager falsely confess to the crime. The investigation into the incident is ongoing, and further developments could have significant implications for Kim Ho-joong.
