With the ongoing development regarding the feud between ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin and HYBE, there have been discoveries regarding Min Hee Jin's attempt to terminate NewJeans members' contracts with HYBE.
Min Hee Jin has been accused of attempting a hostile takeover of ADOR and seeking overseas investment to receive majority control of the company. She claims that HYBE unjustly copied NewJeans with the debut of ILLIT.
However, recently released KakaoTalk messages between ADOR's Vice President and Min Hee Jin reveal that she had discussed terminating NewJeans' contracts around 10 days before ILLIT's debut.
The Vice President wrote to Min Hee Jin, "It's 12.4 billion KRW (~9.11 million USD) per person, and it's expected to be 62 billion KRW (45.5 million USD) for all five" when talking about canceling NewJeans members contracts under HYBE. He added, "However, according to the current shareholder agreement, any changes, terminations, or renewals of significant contracts must be approved by the ADOR board of directors."
Min Hee Jin responded, "Huh? NewJeans? It's not that much."
The Vice President responded with, "Ah. I'm sorry, it's actually 450 billion KRW to 620 billion KRW (~330.6 million USD to 445.5 million USD). No matter how much I think about it, the damage on our side would be too great if the members left. We would have to leave behind all our past albums, and all the contracts with brands are tied to ADOR."
Netizens commented:
"Even though I don't understand people who shield HYBE, I still don't understand people who shield Min Hee Jin, lol."
"Is this the original message?"
"Wow... Sharing such talk over KakaoTalk without fear, they should use Telegram. Remember, if I hack into someone else's KakaoTalk, they might hack into mine too. They must have been thrilled to read others' KakaoTalk messages, lol."
"What does this Vice President do?"
"After seeing this message, I can't shield Min Hee Jin."
"It's not wrong to calculate the number."

Once again, those of us who saw through her bullshit are proven right.
She basically threw both ILLIT and NewJeans under the bus to distract the stupid from what she was up to.
