It was recently revealed that in the midst of the HYBE-ADOR feud, HYBE has already selected a new management team, including a new CEO, to lead the subsidiary ADOR. A company shareholders’ meeting is scheduled to take place later this month. At the upcoming meeting, HYBE is expected to utilize its voting rights as the shareholder owning 80% stake in ADOR in order to remove Min Hee Jin and assign a new management team.
HYBE also plans to reveal the results of its audit into ADOR at the shareholder meeting, and other related materials proving that Min Hee Jin has been planning a coup for years.
Min Hee Jin’s defense will center on disproving the claims that she attempted to seize control of the company, and on establishing that HYBE must honor the five-year term as CEO promised to Min Hee Jin in the shareholders’ agreement.
With the recent news that HYBE has already selected a new team to manage ADOR, netizens have been reacting with surprise and disappointment.
"It's the fact that HYBE is still doing this even while public opinion is going downhill"
"Wow. Min Hee Jin is still the CEO, so why are they even discussing this?"
"HYBE is shameless to do this so publicly...it's mind-boggling"
"NewJeans and Min Hee Jin met at the wrong agency"
"Min Hee Jin hasn't been kicked out yet, so the fans and the public are still favorable to her. But if she's really kicked out, public opinion of HYBE will eventually improve."
"It's so disgusting. We should boycott HYBE, but we won't... I'm disillusioned not only with k-pop, but with this society."
