Today (May 5th), KQ Entertainment announced, "ATEEZ's Hongjoong has donated 50 million won (42,500 US dollars) to domestic family caregivers through World Vision."
In commemoration of Korean's Children's Day today (May 5th), Hongjoong expressed his support and encouragement for domestic family caregivers by donating 50 million won to World Vision. The donation will be delivered to family caregivers nationwide.
Previously, in November 2022, Hongjoong commemorated his birthday by sponsoring 10 million won through his first photo exhibition, 'From November 7, 1988,' to children dreaming of becoming musicians.
Last year, on his birthday, he donated 50 million won to the Korean Leukemia Children's Foundation, a pediatric cancer specialized non-profit organization, by adding his own funds to the proceeds from the film photo exhibition 'Walker A.'
In March, it was revealed that he quietly donated 50 million won to World Vision's global water supply project, touching many with his generosity.
Since debut, Hongjoong has consistently shown interest in children and teenagers facing difficulties, expressing his hope to be of some help by extending a helping hand.
ATEEZ, the group Hongjoong belongs to, will make a comeback on May 31st with their 10th mini-album, 'Golden Hour: Part.1.'
