On April 18 KST, vocalist Parc Jae Jung delivered news of his mandatory military enlistment to fans via SNS.
The singer wrote on this day, "Hello, this is Parc Jae Jung. I felt that some of you might be wondering how I'm doing, so I decided to update you in writing. In truth, I thought that the enlistment would approach quicker, and so I concluded my activities in order to wait for my summons, but the summons came later than I expected. I will begin my mandatory service on May 21."
He continued, "Because there is still some time until the enlistment date, I decided that I would sing one more song for those of you who would listen, and so I have chosen one that I previously worked on. It is called, 'Did Something Happen?'. It will be released on May 9. Please look forward to it."
Parc Jae Jung also expressed, "I know I said before that you should listen to songs by other singers for comfort while I'm gone, but it turns out, more than I thought, I really do want to leave behind songs that remain in people's memories, and I do not want to be forgotten. If you could continue to listen to my songs and not forget about them even while I'm gone, I would be grateful."
Meanwhile, Parc Jae Jung debuted as a singer in November of 2013 after winning first place on the Mnet audition program 'Superstar K5'. A day earlier, he was seen bearing the coffin at the funeral procession for the late singer Park Bo Ram, with whom he was known to be a close acquaintance.
