Actress Kim Go Eun was honored with the Pioneer Award for her performance in the film 'Exhuma'.
She illuminated the 11th Marie Claire Film Festival held at Yongsan CGV on April 27 by receiving the Pioneer Award. This festival, hosted by the fashion magazine Marie Claire, recognizes individuals who have carved their own path and made significant contributions to the Korean film industry. Following the award presentation, Kim Go Eun engaged in a heartfelt conversation with the audience.

Released on February 22 and attracting 11.85 million viewers, 'Exhuma' received widespread acclaim for Kim Go Eun's portrayal of the shaman character, Hwaryeom. Her interpretation and solid acting skills, honed through ongoing interaction with professional shamans, were particularly noteworthy. Kim Go Eun's mesmerizing performance, especially during the ritual scene where she dances with a knife as if possessed, is considered a highlight of the film.
Additionally, following her recognition at the Marie Claire Film Festival, Kim Go Eun has been nominated for the Best Actress award in the film category at the 60th Baeksang Arts Awards for her role in 'Exhuma'. Currently, she has completed filming for her next project, 'Love in the Big City,' and is fully dedicated to filming 'Two Women'.
