Yujeong, formerly a member of BB GIRLS, took to her social media on April 22 KST to share her sentiments about parting ways with the group. Following the conclusion of her contract with Warner Music Korea, Yujeong has transitioned to using her legal name, Nam Yujeong.
In light of this change, BB GIRLS announced the termination of Yujeong's exclusive contract and revealed plans for the group to continue as a three-member unit.
Expressing gratitude and regret, Yujeong stated, "I extend my thanks and apologies to those who have supported and worried about me." She went on to reveal the complexities surrounding her departure, acknowledging the suddenness of the decision and the internal struggles she faced. "It's a decision I've pondered over countless times," she confessed.
Reflecting on her past apprehensions and insecurities, Yujeong admitted, "I've always been hesitant and fearful, afraid of causing harm and hesitant to act independently." However, she emphasized her determination to embrace a new chapter with courage and resilience. "I choose to leave behind my past fears and embark on a journey of self-love and growth," she declared.
