Thanks to their promising debut, the rookie girl group RESCENE is garnering attention as a potential success story for small to mid-sized entertainment companies.
Comprising Woni, Liv, Minami, May, and Zena, RESCENE unveiled their debut album, 'Re:Scene,' on March 26. According to rankings from Hanteo Chart, the album performed remarkably well, landing in 10th place on the list of highest first-week sales ever for a K-pop girl group's debut album. Additionally, the tracks "YoYo" and "Uh Uh" from this album have consistently set records.
RESCENE's pre-release track "YoYo" surpassed 7.34 million views on its music video and achieved over 500,000 streams on Spotify. This song, which encapsulated RESCENE's identity before their official debut, continues to gain momentum, fueled by their dedicated fan base.
The title track, "Uh Uh," is also rapidly gaining popularity. As of April 4, its music video had exceeded 4.34 million views. This song, reflecting the album's 'Burning Flower' concept, has received high praise for its performance. The dance routine, symbolizing blooming flowers, and the powerful vocals have revealed a different facet of RESCENE, going beyond the label of 'visual idols.'
With such a strong start, there is growing anticipation for RESCENE's future endeavors and their potential to expand their influence. Their debut album 'Re:Scene,' which prominently features a 'Floral' theme, marks the beginning of RESCENE's promising journey, and their growth trajectory is being closely observed.
RESCENE has started their career on a high note, enthusiastically promoting the leading single "Uh Uh" from their debut album. They are looking forward to connecting with their fans through a range of exciting content.

I've been listening to their title track the most out of the four girl groups who just debuted. What's driving these album sales though? They don't have that much marketing or hype like big company groups.
