Actor Ryu Joon Yeol's appearance at The Masters golf event is drawing criticism from netizens.
On April 10, Ryu Joon Yeol served as a caddie for professional golfer Tom Kim (Kim Joo Hyung) at the prestigious golf event in Augusta, Georgia, but many netizens are taking issue with his appearance.
The actor is currently an ambassador for the climate change organization Greenpeace, and as golf courses are known for their extraordinary water use of approximately 200 million gallons a year to keep the lawns green, many netizens are expressing he should step down as ambassador. The use of chemicals and other resources on golf courses are also criticized for their negative effects on the environment.
Netizens on the community message board theqoo expressed their criticism of Ryu Joon Yeol for supporting The Masters event as he's representing a climate change organization. They commented, "We shouldn't let people like him make money," "Greenpeace should change its name to Greendisaster," "His mask is falling apart," "He's doing whatever he wants since it doesn't matter how he lives. He'll always be cast in projects," "I want to throw up," "If that drama didn't do well, he'd be a forgettable actor," "Is he crazy," and more.
What are your thoughts on the issue?

they have a point though, tbh. If you're an ambassador for greenpeace, then promoting golf courses is just stupid.
