VIXX member Leo recently shared that he was scammed.
On March 15, Leo shared on social media X (formerly Twitter) that he was scammed while trying to purchase a secondhand item.
He shared with fans, "I was scammed this morning. I was trying to buy gloves and the seller said that they didn't receive the transaction money and asked me to send it again along with the original cost of the gloves. They asked for an additional 1.5 million KRW (~1,127 USD). I thought it was suspicious so I looked into it and realized it was a scam."
He continued to explain, "I sent 800,000 KRW for the gloves and 400,000 KRW a second time. I am learning another lesson through this." He continued to say, "This is so annoying that it kills me."
Unable to bear the frustration, Leo continued to communicate with fans who were worried about him. One fan suggested that he report this to the police since his bank information was also shared with the seller. Leo continued to ask fans, "If I report this, does that person get caught? Would they go after them?" He later updated fans, "This person has 9 previous accounts of scamming."
Netizens expressed their concerns and commented, "That's so unfortunate," "You need to block your account since you let them know the account number," and "What in the world."
Meanwhile, Leo made his debut with VIXX in 2012 and has been participating in various activities. Recently, Leo signed an exclusive contract with Big Boss Entertainment to continue to embark in activities as a musical actor.
I'm sorry, this is terrible but I laughed a little at the title with the picture they used. Like he looks very sad from being scammed.
