PRISM Production responds to fan protests about SHINee's Minho appearing on an allegedly dangerous variety show.
As previously reported, fans sent protest trucks to SM Entertainment to protect Minho from an allegedly dangerous Japanese show titled 'The Ultimate Sports Men's Competition 2024'. The show premiering on May 3 is said to bring together competitors with amazing athletic skills, and though Minho is known for his excellent fitness, it seems fans are concerned the SHINee member might hurt himself.
On March 20, PRISM Production responded to fan concerns with the statement below on SHINee's social media channels. The production company stated, "We've reviewed the opinions you've shared about Minho's appearance on Japan's TBS 'Ultimate Sports Men's Competition 2024'... The decision for him to appear on this highly popular program, which airs during golden week in Japan, was made after considering it will significantly help Minho's future activities in Japan as an artist, both as a singer and an actor. The decision was made following thorough safety considerations and discussions by PRISM Production, the local Japanese management team, and the broadcast company."
The production company also confirmed Minho will only be filming for one episode on April 16. PRISM Production continued, "We're committed to conducting a thorough check and preparation for the filming process to ensure Minho's schedule goes safely."
Stay tuned for updates on Minho and SHINee.

I thought Minho loved things like this, being both athletic and highly competitive.
