Singer Kyuhyun has successfully kicked off his first Asia tour in Seoul.
Kyuhyun met with fans during his first Asia tour, '2024 KYUHYUN (KYUHYUN) ASIA TOUR 'Restart'' (hereafter 'Restart'), held over three days from the 8th to the 10th at the Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul.
The concert opened with Kyuhyun's new song 'Restart', the same title as his EP released in January. Kyuhyun then delivered a series of performances including 'Slowly, Gently', 'Was It Love', 'Because It's You (Super Junior-K.R.Y.)' with a band arrangement, showcasing his exceptional live vocals.
Kyuhyun also performed a succession of his hits such as 'A Million Pieces', 'At Gwanghwamun', 'Press Your Heart (Daystar)', completing a setlist filled with his signature emotional touch. The audience sang the female part of 'Our Love Like This (Summer Day Us X KYUHYUN, Jung Eun-ji)', providing a special duet stage.
Furthermore, Kyuhyun received great cheers from fans by singing a verse from numbers in 12 musicals he has appeared in, including a Super Junior medley. Among these, he lifted the atmosphere to its peak by performing 'Fate' from 'Ben-Hur', the song most requested by fans.
Kyuhyun showed his versatility as an entertainer with his unique witty remarks. The setlist, comprising over 20 songs, was a testament to the strength of one of Korea's leading solo artists.
Kyuhyun expressed his heartfelt feelings to the fans, saying, "I'm greeting you from Seoul, the first city of my first Asia tour 'Restart'. The three days passed by really quickly. Like the name of the concert, I'm undertaking a new challenge, and I'm truly grateful and reassured that Kyupiters (official fandom name of Kyuhyun) are with me in this challenge," and "This is my first concert after joining Antenna, and I will not forget this time, this moment. I will repay the fans' support and love with good music and activities in the future. I will also successfully complete the Asia tour that continues until May and return."
After opening the spectacular gate of his first Asia tour 'Restart' in Seoul, Kyuhyun will continue his performances in nine cities across eight regions in Asia, including Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Indonesia.
