Jang Da Ah confessed that she didn't want the public to know that she was Jang Won Young's sister.

Jang Da Ah sat down with SpoTV News for an interview after finishing the filming of the TVing original series 'Pyramid Game.' She met with the news media outlet on March 28 at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul. During the interview, she shared, "I've dreamt of becoming an actress for a long time, and I feel so honored and grateful to have debuted after meeting such a good project and character."

On this day, Jang Da Ah opened up about the pressure she felt after she garnered attention as 'Jang Won Young's older sister. She shared, "I had dreamt firmly of becoming an actress for a long time. Since I've achieved that dream, I didn't let myself get swayed or worry about those additional aspects. I focused on whether I might be lacking in character expression when showing my acting for the first time or if viewers might not be satisfied. Besides that, I didn't pay special attention to other things."

Regarding whether she received feedback from her younger sister, Jang Won Young, Jang Da Ah shared, "There wasn't any particular feedback about the work. I'm just happy because my family seemed to have enjoyed the project in itself. My sister, Jang Won Young, even sent me a screenshot of 'Pyramid Game' to show that she was watching."

Not only that, Jang Da Ah talked about the title of "Jang Won Young's older sister' following her around. She explained, "When I made my debut, that was something that was already opened to the public and known. I accepted it as something that would naturally follow me. But I believe I can establish a name for myself as time passes in my acting career, and the label of being 'Jang Won Young's older sister' will gradually disappear. I never wanted that label from the beginning."

She further emphasized, "I hoped that it wouldn't be known (that Jang Won Young is my sister). But it had nothing to do with my desires."

Meanwhile, adapted from the well-known Naver webtoon of the same title, 'Pyramid Game' portrays a brutal survival hierarchy battle among students. They are categorized as victims, perpetrators, and bystanders, and they descend into violence as they participate in monthly secret votes to choose the outcast.
