On the March 27 broadcast of MBC's 'Radio Star', Super Junior member Eunhyuk once again apologized for the criticism raised over the title of D&E's comeback song, "GGB".
On this episode, Super Junior members Heechul, Leeteuk, Yesung, and Eunhyuk appeared as guests in order to express support for D&E's unit comeback. However, when the topic of D&E's comeback came around, Eunhyuk hesitantly explained, "When we revealed the title of the new song, there was a bit of controversy. The song is called 'jijibae' you see."
[Note: the Korean slang term 'jijibae' carries a similar connotation to the English word 'beyotch', and can be used to refer to females in a slightly less vulgar manner than 'nyeon' ('b*tch').]
Eunhyuk then went on, "The intention on our part was to describe the longing that the singer is experiencing after breaking up in a cute and whiny way, but it was a matter that we really should have thought through more carefully in these times, and because we failed to do so, some people felt discomfort. It was our mistake."
When asked if D&E would be changing the title of the song, Eunhyuk answered, "Because the production is already completed, we are not in a situation where we can change anything. So in the end, we cancelled all of our music program appearances. It is unfortunate, but we will just have to do better next time."
Comforting Eunhyuk for the unfortunate turn of events, the MCs of 'Radio Star' asked the idol to showcase the choreography for the new song anyway, with the "controversial" parts of the song edited out.
Meanwhile, Super Junior D&E released their 5th mini album '606' and its title track "GGB" on March 26.
The title was never wrong to begin with, it just sensitive and thin skinned people were overreact
I would bet that these people that were mad over it, would ask Donghae & Eunhyuk sign or photo if they meet at public or airport
