Actress Han Hyo Joo has embarked on an exciting collaboration with renowned Japanese actor Shun Oguri in the upcoming Japanese Netflix series 'Romantics Anonymous'.
Confirmed by sources within the film industry on March 13 KST, Han Hyo Joo has commenced filming for the series alongside Shun Oguri in Japan since the beginning of this month.
'Romantics Anonymous' is adapted from the beloved French film of the same name directed by Jean-Pierre Ameris. The romantic comedy follows the story of a talented yet socially anxious chocolatier who finds herself working at a small chocolate shop. Helming the series is director Sho Tsukikawa, known for his work on the Japanese film 'I Want to Eat Your Pancreas', which garnered immense popularity in Korea.
In the series, Han Hyo Joo portrays a character with a remarkable talent for chocolate confectionery but struggles with social anxiety. Shun Oguri takes on the role of the shop owner, who shares similar nervous tendencies. The series explores the endearing journey of these two characters as they bond over their shared experiences.
The collaboration between Han Hyo Joo and Oguri Shun in a romantic comedy is expected to generate significant buzz in both Korea and Japan, given their status as top stars in their respective industries.
