Song Hye-kyo announced the start of filming for her new movie 'The Black Nuns' on February 28th through her social media account. 

Accompanied by the caption "Starting," she posted several photos including one of a lighthouse amidst the blue sea and another featuring the script of 'The Black Nuns'. She heightened anticipation by sharing images capturing the changing ambiance of the film set from bright daylight to sunset, along with a photo of the script.

Co-stars, including Lim Ji-yeon, showed support by commenting "Fighting, sister," while Song Yoon-ah expressed encouragement with heart and thumbs-up emojis.

'The Black Nuns' is the sequel to the 2015 movie 'The Priests', focusing on nuns battling a powerful evil spirit to save a possessed boy. The film stars Song Hye-kyo alongside Jeon Yeo-been, Lee Jin-wook, Heo Jun-ho, and Moon Woo-jin.

This marks Song Hye-kyo's return to the Korean cinema screen after a decade, following her role in 'My Brilliant Life'.

Last year, Song Hye-kyo delivered a compelling performance as a school violence victim in the Netflix series 'The Glory'.
