Korean netizens are speculating that former NCT member Lucas will return to entertainment industry activities.

On February 20, a few Korean online users discovered a social media X account affiliated with SM Entertainment with the name Lucas. This latest discovery has sparked speculation that Lucas is preparing to resume activities as a solo artist.

Many Korean netizens are surprised by this find, while some have already been expecting Lucas to resume activities. They commented, "What?" "They already announced that he would go solo when they announced his departure from the group," "SM is truly amazing," "Didn't he leave SM?" "I heard he is even on Bubble," "How would he still be doing solo activities? With what talent?" "I thought even Chinese fans turned against him," "I'm more surprised that someone found this, lol," "So it's true, SM never turns their back on artists," "This account has that SM tag. So it's official," and "SM is still the same even without Lee Soo Man."

Meanwhile, Lucas is preparing to resume his activities for the first time in approximately two years and a half following his gaslighting and cheating controversy back in August of 2021.

Back in 2021, Lucas was accused of gaslighting and leeching money off two Chinese netizens. Following the controversy, Lucas issued an apology and halted all activities with NCT and WayV.

Then in May 2023, SM Entertainment announced that Lucas would be departing from NCT and WayV permanently and would be pursuing solo activities.
