I remember stumbling upon a translation of j-hope's dancing blog where he talked about the different styles within street dance. It was adorable yet informative. I watched all the YouTube videos he posted and searched for more about the dancers he mentioned. I danced once upon a time and I am drawn to Hobi's style of "kpop" choreo dancing and his stellar freestyling. From his fluid and and sharp movements, excellent posture, feet placement, and body lines I am in awe of how he has a great classical dance foundation AND wonderful street dance techniques. He's so talented yet humble. I really look forward to seeing him meet other dancers in his docuseries on Prime Video and TVing.
