Earlier this week, former NU'EST member Aron announced his special fan event, 'Oppa and Me'.
The event will feature Aron and 300 lucky fans spending two nights and three days together at a recreational resort in Wonju, Gangwon-do, with various activities such as photo sessions, sporting events, live broadcasts, video screenings, DIY classes, and more in store.
However, the hefty participation fee per person, at 990,000 KRW (~ $742 USD), drew criticism, as some raised concerns of fan exploitation. The limited boarding options, requiring that all participants share a room with four people, was also cause for complaints.
Some fans expressed their disappointment at Aron, who had claimed that the event had been planned for his loyal fans who have supported him for the past 12 years.
Meanwhile, Aron debuted as a member of NU'EST in 2012. The group was officially disbanded in 2022 after all five members chose to go their separate ways.
For spending 3 days with him doing all that stuff and traveling honestly sounds reasonable to me
