Actor Joo Jong Hyuk's music band 'Unhobby' donated the proceeds from their first band performance.
According to BH Entertainment, Joo Jong Hyuk, along with actors Kim Jin Hyung, Park Sung Joon, Yoo Yi Tae, Lee Jae Won, Lee Je Yeon, and Im Tu Cheol, formed the band 'Unhobby,' and their first performance took place on January 26 at Emu Cinema Pangta Gaeraji in Jongno-gu.
While actively engaged in works such as the movie 'IRON MASK' and the drama 'No Secrets,' Joo Jong Hyuk has consistently dedicated himself to rehearsal over the past year.
Despite being their first performance, they showcased harmonious playing among crew members, leading to enthusiastic applause from the audience, owing to their exceptional skills.
The performance, attended by over 100 spectators, proceeded successfully over two hours. Most of the proceeds from the performance were contributed to supporting underprivileged youth in South Korea with 6,000 packs of Dancing Whale sanitary pads, adding further significance to the event. Through Dancing Whale, they also spearheaded efforts to spread sharing by receiving additional support.
Joo Jong Hyuk expressed his ambition to expand artistic activities in various fields with the Unhobby crew, ensuring that their hobby activities won't just remain as hobbies.
Debuting with the independent film 'Mongma' in 2015, Joo Jong Hyuk gained recognition through works like 'Them in Us,' 'Expiration Date,' 'Young People in Korea,' 'Electrical Skills Test,' and the Netflix series 'D.P.' Especially in 2022, he received much love for his role as Kwon Min Woo in the popular drama 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo.'
Joo Jong Hyuk is scheduled to showcase various works this year, including the JTBC drama 'No Secrets' and the movie 'I Hate Korea.'
