It was previously reported that a composer in his 30's was arrested for being under the influence of narcotics and acting erratically in public. In a recent airing of JTBC's 'Newsroom' on February 27 KST, a disturbing video surfaced, revealing a composer in his 30s, Mr. Choi, wandering around the streets of Seoul while allegedly under the influence of drugs. The footage captured Mr. Choi, who was arrested on charges related to drug possession and property damage, meandering through various locations in the city.
The video depicts Mr. Choi entering the parking lot of a church in black attire, exhibiting signs of disorientation and imbalance. When approached by the church manager, he reportedly exhibited erratic behavior, resulting in injury to himself and damage to property before departing the scene.
According to the testimony of the cathedral manager, Mr. Choi initially appeared disoriented and attempted to gain entry to areas restricted to priests. When questioned about his actions, he cryptically responded, "I go crazy sometimes," before departing.
Further reports indicate that Mr. Choi continued to roam the streets of Samseong-dong in a similar state, with witnesses recounting his unusual behavior, including dancing with his clothing in disarray.
Mr. Choi faces allegations of consuming drugs in the early hours of February 22 KST, leading to a disturbance at a cafe in Gangnam. Following the incident, he reportedly left the cafe shirtless amidst heavy snowfall, eventually being apprehended by authorities.
Coincidentally, police received reports of a man walking shirtless in the Seolleung-ro area, prompting them to escort him to the police station for his safety. Subsequent investigations revealed the presence of a syringe, linking Mr. Choi to the earlier incident at the cafe.
Following a positive drug test result, Mr. Choi was promptly arrested, with authorities securing a warrant from the Seoul Central District Court after a review of the case.
What he did was wrong, but I think he needs help.
I hope he gets the help he needs. :(
