An alarming incident unfolded at the '31st Hanteo Music Awards' as reports emerged of an audience member allegedly defecating in the standing section.

Across various online forums, netizens expressed astonishment at a series of incidents during the event, including accounts of individuals encountering human waste on the ground floor of the standing section.

On the social media platform X, Korean netizens recounted being able to detect the odor amid the crowd, prompting security guards to investigate the area. 

According to a post, pleas to "halt the event" surfaced "as attendees struggled to cope with the discomfort."

Some witnesses noted that several artists allegedly reacted to the odor, visibly displeased as they "pinched their noses" in response.

Meanwhile, a large portion of netizens expressed sympathy for the anonymous individual, with reports and speculations suggesting they may have been unable to navigate the densely packed crowd.

Moreover, the term for 'The person who pooped' trended on X in South Korea, sparking a flurry of over 13,000 posts on the platform.
