Park Myung Soo Discusses Second-Hand Trading Among Celebrities

On the KBS CoolFM's 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show', a segment was dedicated to reading listeners' stories. A listener shared, "I'm listening while doing a second-hand trade. One trader is extremely kind, but the other lacks manners."

In response, Park Myung-soo said, "Celebrities, including BTS and myself, also engage in second-hand trading. It's because it feels wasteful to throw things away. It's better to give them to someone who needs them, and barter them at a reasonable price. I don't think it's a bad thing."

He continued, "When I go out for these trades, I cover my face a lot. I don't go out bare-faced. I wear a face mask and a hat. Even the clothes I'm wearing now were acquired through second-hand trading. However, I mostly conduct trades via delivery services."

That would be a bit of a shock, can you imagine someone famous turning up to pick up something you've discarded?

.

I suppose it's on the cards though, my stuff seems to breed in storage, I can't believe how much is still left, despite giving away half a storage unit of 'things' on Freecycle, Freegle and TrashNothing.
