Kyuhyun revealed Hyolyn refused to give him her number.

On the January 20th episode of 'Knowing Brothers', SISTAR19 and Super Junior's Kyuhyun featured as guests, and Kang Ho Dong expressed, "In the past, Kyuhyun asked Hyolyn for her number and was severely rejected." Kyuhyun said, "We were on 'Immortal Songs' together. It was with Kyuhyun, Hyolyn, Jay Park, G.O, and Jiyoon."

He continued, "After the last filming, we were supposed to have a gathering together. I was the oldest, so I asked to exchange numbers and location. I then went to Hyolyn and told her what was going on to ask for her number. She was on her phone at the time. She could give it to me, but then she said, 'Huh? Oh, wait a minute.' She then brought out another cell phone and gave me that number."

Kyuhyun went on to say when he did send a message he got the feeling he was speaking to a man, and he later found out it was Hyolyn's agency director number. The Super Junior member said, "I was really hurt."

When asked if she really didn't like Kyuhyun that much, Hyolyn explained, "It hadn't been too long after we debuted, so our agency didn't want us to go to a private get-together."
