BABYMONSTER's 'BATTER UP' debut MV surpasses 200 million YouTube views

BABYMONSTER's debut music video "BATTER UP" reached a new milestone on YouTube.

On January 19 KST, the YG Entertainment girl group's music video for "BATTER UP" officially exceeded 200 million views on YouTube.

Released on November 27, 2023 as the group's debut single, the video reached the mark 53 days later. It now holds the record for the fastest debut music video by a K-Pop group to surpass 200 million views, breaking the 6-year record set by their senior group BLACKPINK with "BOOMBAYAH."

Dude they force views by having their MV play as an ad on YouTube. Kinda corny for a company like YG but I guess they are desperate for them to be successful since they don't really have any artists right now.
