Earlier this month on January 7 at around 2:30 AM KST, a woman ('A', 26-years old) fell from the 9th floor of a residential complex and died on the spot. 

The first person to report the incident to the police was 'B', the woman's ex-boyfriend. 'B' told police that he and 'A' had gotten in an argument immediately before the incident, claiming that 'A' had taken her own life.

Later on, 'A's family and acquaintances claimed that she had been stalked and assaulted by 'B'. 'A's friends had seen large bruises on her arms and legs, and where ever 'A' went, she would take photos of where she was to "report back" to her boyfriend. 

When 'A' tried to break up with 'B', 'B' not only assaulted 'A' and damaged her property, he persistently stalked her and threatened to commit suicide. According to neighbors, once, 'B' rang 'A's doorbell for 13-hours without stopping. Even after the neighbors filed complaints, 'B' continued to wait in front of her door all night until she would come out of her house in the morning. After 'A' reported 'B' to the police for stalking, 'B' threatened 'A' by claiming that his father was a lawyer and his uncle was a police officer, and that he would be able to "get out of it" easily. 

Although 'B' initially testified that he had left 'A's residence when 'A' fell from the building, CCTV footage confirmed that 'B' had in fact been present in the home when the incident occurred. 

Currently, 'A's family is refusing to believe that the incident was "mere suicide". It's known that neither 'B' nor any members of his family attended 'A's funeral.

Then, recently, rumors arose that 'B' was the younger brother of a rising actress who has appeared on hit dramas like 'Our Beloved Summer', 'My Dearest', and 'Under the Queen's Umbrella'. 

Based on the rumors, netizens named actress Jeon Hye Won as the suspected older sister of 'B', and since then, the actress has disabled all comments on her Instagram.
