VIXX' N received backlash from fans once again after his interview.

N, also known as Cha Hak Yeon upset fans this past November after revealing he wouldn't be joining VIXX' first comeback in 4 years, and despite his handwritten letter to fans, he was criticized for allegedly abandoning the group. On December 8, N began to receive backlash once again after opening up about the situation in an interview for the ending of the hit drama 'Castaway Diva'.

In the interview, N expressed he was regretful that he was unable to join VIXX for their comeback with 'CONTINUUM', but fans are not happy as they're saying the interview came just before the group's 'CONTINUUM' concerts in Seoul on December 9 and 10, which N will not be a part of. N stated, "I know it was upsetting to fans. It's one of the things I regret most in 2023... During album production, the members and I talked a lot. We started discussing it this past April, but I'd already decided to film a drama before then. It was clear the schedules would clash with each other," adding, "It didn't make sense for the members to postpone the album. As unfortunate as it was, I chose not to participate in the album, but when it came out, the members and I looked over everything together. I felt so proud."

Fans and netizens are now shunning N from the group, and many seem to feel betrayed by the idol-turned-actor. They commented on online communities, "What's up with the timing of this interview?
