Singer Parc Jae Jung's "Let's Say Goodbye" emerges as the top song sang in karaoke for the year of 2023.
According to TJ Media, a karaoke accompaniment company, "Let's Say Goodbye" has topped the karaoke chart for 23 consecutive weeks from the end of June to the first week of December, making it the song that has topped TJ Karaoke's charts for the longest time.
Following Parc Jae Jung is DK (December) with their song "Heart," and Younha's "Event Horizon" which ranked second and third respectively.
On top of that, Izi's "Emergency Room" came in fourth, Kim Feel's "If I Love Again" came in fifth, Yoon Jong Shin's "Like It" came in sixth, MC the Max's "No Matter Where" came in seventh, tei's "Monologue" came in eighth, Sung Si Kyung's "Every Moment of You" came in ninth, and IVE's "I AM" came in tenth.
In addition, 4th generation girl groups, including IVE and NewJeans, have charted on the same chart. Notably, NewJeans charted with "Ditto" and "Hype Boy" and (G)I-DLE also charted with "Queencard."
TJ Media also added that ballads account for 48% of the songs charted, and other popular genres that charted are rock and dance songs.
