JYP Entertainment recently marked the 4th anniversary of 'EDM DAY,' a meaningful occasion that underscores their commitment to diverse philanthropy and positive societal changes. Since 2002, JYP has been actively engaged in various social contribution initiatives, ranging from year-end charity concerts in pediatric wards featuring their artists to their ongoing CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) projects, all driven by the motto 'EDM (Every Dream Matters!).'

JYP proudly announced their '[2023 JYP EDM DAY] Every Dream Matters!' event through official SNS channels on December 24 KST. The announcement included a video presentation detailing the various activities and projects associated with the EDM social contribution initiative. 'EDM DAY,' designed to culminate the year's social contribution activities, featured JYP CEO J.Y. Park, artists Jihyo from TWICE, and Bang Chan from Stray Kids. Also present were children who have benefited from the EDM project, their family members, and representatives from partner organizations.

In a touching moment, DAY6's Young K made a special appearance and performed 'Better Day,' the grand prize-winning song from the 'SONGS THAT CARE' music contest hosted by JYP as part of its social responsibility efforts. The song carries a powerful message of support, aimed at helping individuals facing life's challenges heal and regain their strength. Young K's heartfelt rendition resonated with all in attendance.

The heartwarming core of the EDM initiative is the 'EDM treatment cost support project.' J.Y. Park, Jihyo, and Bang Chan shed light on this project's impact, which aims to bring about healthy changes. This project focuses on supporting the medical expenses of patients and their families experiencing financial difficulties. 

The 'EDM Wish Fulfillment Project,' initiated in 2019, has been instrumental in fulfilling the dreams of children with incurable diseases. This year, 40 individuals had their dreams fulfilled, contributing to a total of 271 dream fulfillments under this project to date. 

The 'Special Artist Public Service Activity' introduced Stray Kids' one-day mentoring session for underprivileged youth in Korea. Members of Stray Kids had a meaningful experience teaching aspiring singers and dancers key choreography from representative songs, fostering a sense of unity and encouragement among the participants.

JYP also launched 'Love Earth,' an eco-friendly project aimed at creating a clean environment for future generations. The 'Love Earth Challenge' campaign, conducted annually in commemoration of International Coastal Cleanup Day, expanded this year into 'Action for Ocean.' It encouraged participants to take actions such as reducing microplastics, carbon emissions, and ocean acidification. The campaign attracted 1,860 fans who actively participated in eco-friendly activities, leading to a donation of 37.2 million won for coastal cleanup efforts, contributing to cleaning up 26 oceans.

Furthermore, JYP artists, including TWICE, Stray Kids' Hyunjin, Changbin, Felix, and ITZY's Ryujin, donated a total of 1 billion won to assist in earthquake recovery efforts in Turkey and Syria. JYP also committed 1 billion won as part of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management to contribute to building a better society.
