Jessica has made a striking comeback with her new mini-album 'BEEP BEEP,' her first release in six years. In a recent exclusive interview with MyDaily, Jessica shared her excitement, saying, "I can't believe how time has flown." The title track of 'BEEP BEEP,' released six years after her third mini-album 'My Decade' in 2017, is a sophisticated pop song that showcases Jessica's signature charming vocal tone.

Described as a song that's playful yet profound, it expresses the thrilling yet elusive nature of falling in love. The chorus "Beep Beep" is particularly catchy, lending the song an addictive quality. The music video, drenched in a retro aesthetic, exudes a lovely ambiance, perfect for the winter season.

One of the key highlights of 'BEEP BEEP' is Jessica's more matured voice. Jessica explained that the delay in releasing a new album wasn't intentional. She had been continuously working on her album, but its release was unavoidably postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and her activities in China. She emphasized that she focused on the album's quality rather than rushing its release. "I've been continuously working on music, so I wanted to release the album when I had collected songs I really liked. And this time, I did because the songs really resonated with me. Especially since my fans always asked me, 'When is your album coming out?' Now I can finally say, 'It's out!'" she said with a laugh.

The 'BEEP BEEP' music video playfully captures the anticipation of something exciting about to happen. Whether it's before going out, just before a performance, or entering a party, the "Beep Beep" moments in the video create an atmosphere of thrilling anticipation. Drawing inspiration from the 1950s Old Hollywood style, Jessica adorned the video with a mix of enchanting and glamorous styling.

Being a known pink color enthusiast, Jessica mentioned that she felt the color matched well with the song. "I thought my favorite color went well with the song," she said, "and the styling highlighted feathers, lace, etc., to give a fancy, sweet, yet mature vibe."

The album includes six tracks, including the title track 'BEEP BEEP,' 'Better Late Than Never,' 'Get It? Got It? Good (Feat. Amber Liu),' 'Best Summer,' 'Set Me Free,' and the Korean version of 'BEEP BEEP.'

Jessica confessed her desire for musical maturity, saying, "I thought it would be good to mature a little more musically." With 'BEEP BEEP,' she believes she has found the song that suits her best at this moment.

Especially poignant is Jessica's affection for her fans, who have waited patiently for her return. "Time has passed so quickly. I deliberately chose the first track of the album. I participated in the lyrics and composition. It's a song about love, but it's also a song that conveys the message I wanted to share." 

The first track, titled 'Better Late Than Never,' holds this special significance.
