Former T-ara member Ahreum, who recently announced her divorce and re-marriage at the same time, clarified that the rumors surrounding her and her partner are not true.

On December 10, Ahreum simultaneously announced that she has decided to end her four years of marriage and is embarking on a new chapter with a different partner.

She revealed that she was still in the process of her divorce but had found someone with whom she wanted to start a new chapter of her life. Following the reports, there were many speculations and rumors regarding Ahreum's new partner.

Several media outlets engaged in speculation, suggesting that Ahreum's recent partner could potentially be associated with the scriptwriting of 'Believer 2,' as he had shared posts related to the film on his social media accounts.

In an interview with Edaily on December 12, Ahreum clarified that all the rumors about her new partner were untrue.

She explained, "There seems to be a misunderstanding. My partner is unrelated to 'Believer 2.' So, I hope that speculative articles and reports can be restrained." She added, "He operates a cafe and has participated in various projects but I cannot provide more specific details at this moment. I ask for your understanding."

On the same day, Ahreum also released a statement on her Instagram explaining that she plans to take legal action against the malicious commenters who spread false information. 

She explained, "The captured comments are the actual ones I reported, and I want to emphasize again that I am taking legal action against them, so please refrain from making such comments."

In July 2012, Areum joined the girl group T-ara, but by the following year, she had parted ways with the group. Subsequently, she married a non-celebrity entrepreneur, and together they have two sons.

Their complex marital relationship was exposed when they appeared on TVing's 'Between Marriage and Divorce.' More recently, Ahreum took part in JTBC's 'Sing Again 3,' showcasing T-ara's "Sexy Love," though she was eliminated from the program.
