In a recent turn of events, FNC Entertainment has found itself at the center of controversy as fans question the decision to let Rowoon, an actor and former member of SF9, perform with the group at a concert.
On December 16th, FNC Entertainment held the 'FNC Kingdom' concert in Japan. 'FNC Kingdom' refers to FNC Entertainment's concerts, where artists under FNC Entertainment gather together to perform.
One of the performances during the concert had Rowoon and one of the SF9 members perform together as a unit.
Following the show, many fans questioned the decision of the label to have the former member perform together with a group member.
Some of the comments are:
"I've never seen a former member perform with a current member of a group."
"This concert was for the fans and the fact that fans don't want to see this happen just sums up how weird this decision is."
"They can still be friends in private but this is just weird, especially after officially leaving the group."
"FNC really does not know what's up smh"
"Why didn't they just have Rowoon's solo performance? This is absurd."
"I feel like neither Rowoon's fans nor SF9's fans wanted this situation."
Meanwhile, Rowoon departed the group to focus on his acting career in September of this year. What do you think?
Can't speak for fans of SF9, but if any of the ex-members of Super Junior wanted to perform with them, I'd totally support that.
