BOYNEXTDOOR's bodyguard is under fire for his violent action towards a fan.
On December 18, various posts were created on multiple online communities, such as Theqoo, with the titles 'BOYNEXTDOOR Bodyguard Assault' and 'Violence by an Idol Security Guard.'
The posts included videos and photos of a fan holding a camera following the group at the airport. In the video, a female fan is seen walking backward while taking photos until a bodyguard is seen violently pushing the fan to the floor. People can also be observed reacting with surprise and turning around to look back.
Netizens who saw the video commented, "Isn't that too rough? Is it okay for security guards to exercise violence under the pretext of protecting the idols?" "That's just violence and venting out," "She wasn't even close to the group. That's assault in my opinion," "That's just abuse," and "It could've been severe if she fell and hurt her head."
Others argued that there are so many fans crossing the line these days. They commented, "These days, Sasaeng fans cross the line a lot, so security guards are likely super sensitive," and "It's hard to say anything without knowing the full context."
Nevertheless, the security guard of BOYNEXTDOOR remains in the spotlight for his excessive use of force against a female fan.
Wikitree attempted to contact BOYNEXTDOOR's agency, but these efforts proved unsuccessful.
Plain and simple fans need to be banned from airports. NO reason for them to be there at all. Too many videos lately have idols being mobbed and they are going to get hurt. I dont see the whold video anywhere just this small snippet. others are saying that just before this two of them almost fell due to the swarming of fans.
