Universe Ticket reveals pre-release trailer of 2011-liner contestant

Universe Ticket reveals first pre-release trailer of 12 year old contestant.

On November 9, upcoming survival show Universe Ticket revealed the episode trailer.

The trailer highlights one contestant, Lim Seo-won who is a 12 year old contestant born in 2011. Seowon was previously a contestant on Miss Trot 2 when she was 9 years old.

Through the video, Seowon shares:
"When I first started doing trot singing, At that time, I thought it would be good to just do things in a variety of ways. I did trot, ballads, and musicals. I thought I have to decide now (if I want to be an idol). If I become an idol I want to be the 'Center'."

Some Korean netizens react to the videothrough comments:

1. I guess the baby really grew up fast haha. When did she grow up so much? She’s so pretty.

2.Since Seowon is young, she can become an idol and become a trot singer later, so I hope she can do whatever she wants.

3.There may have been a perception that he couldn't do it because he's a trot singer, but he's really good at it.

4.She was a baby when he did Miss Trot, but she has grown so much.. Her voice was like a baby, before but she has become more mature..ㅜㅜ

5. But she looks so young... If she wants to dance and sing, she'd be better suited for Pinkfong, or a kids idol group

6. Even if she was born in 2011, she is too young. It would be better for her to gain experience here and then go to a large company later.

7. Aren’t you too young to be in a girl group?

Meanwhile, Universe Ticket is set to air November 18.

I understand kids have dreams but that age is so painfully young to debut and be under the immense public scrutiny pressure every moment of every day. I don't see a problem with her wanting to sing or dance or do musicals or theater per se - but maybe not a full idol group debut for at least a couple more years would be better for long term mental health. Keep doing what you love and grow into your own mind and confidence a little more before the public pressures are constantly criticizing 🥰
