On November 23 KST, the cast and crew of MBC's 'Adventure By Accident' season 3 appeared at a press conference for the show's upcoming premiere.
During the press conference, YouTuber/TV personality Dex was asked about the recent online controversy he was involved in, after recommending an R17+ (in the United States) Japanese animation series titled 'Made in Abyss'. Some online users have problematized the series in the past for pedophilia, as well as extreme physical violence and gore involving child characters.
Agreeing to speak about the issue, Dex began, "Please do not worry too much. I believe that the issue was caused by differences in perspectives, as we all have lived different lives and have different experiences."
He continued, "I have lived a well-grounded life up until now. But what I considered unproblematic may still be viewed as problematic by others, and so I will make sure to be cautious in that regard from now on. I will continue to live a grounded life, while making adjustments as not to concern others, including my fans who were worried about me."
