K-pop groups are experimentalists, from bleached blonde hair to colors like bright orange and deep red. There's no stopping K-pop groups when it comes to style and concepts, but the real question is, which one do you prefer?
1. TXT "Blue Hour" or "Good Boy Gone Bad": Whereas "Blue Hour" was upbeat, light and whimsical, "Good Boy Gone Bad" brought on an entirely new image to TXT. They are showing off their more mature and edgy side. But what do you think fits the band a bit better?
2. APink: Debuting with a loveable and cute concept, if you look at APINK's discography, you'll see that as they continued in their careers, their music style and concepts also began to transform with them. Now, APink shows fans a consistently more femme fatale side to them with an edge of sultry. While they've mastered both concepts, which do you prefer?
3. Red Velvet: Red Velvet is definitely one of the versatile groups in their music, styles, and concepts. If it's songs like "Happiness" and "Russian Roulette," they'll have you jumping around to the beat, and if it's songs such as "Bad Boy" and "Psycho," they'll have you mesmerized by their charisma. But which suits them a bit better? The happy-go-lucky or the sultry and mysterious?
4. ITZY: What's interesting about ITZY is that they still have that 'girl crush' concept, but it's changed ever since their debut. During their debut, you had songs like "Dalla Dalla" and the ever so iconic "Wannabe," which was fierce and bold. However, with the recent comebacks they've had, they're showing a different flare to their group. A more upbeat presence, softening their fierceness, which was found more in past concepts. It's eye-catching regardless, but when it comes down to it, do fans prefer the concept that's more like their debut or the more recent comebacks?
5. BLACKPINK: Even before their debut, BLACKPINK garnered the attention of many people all over the world; rather than going for the innocent and flirty concept, BLACKPINK is known for their girl-power image, and as time has gone BLACKPINK has been showing a sharper more hardcore girl crush concept in comparison to before especially ever since the popularity of "Kill This Love" and "Dududu." While it's great that they're killing the stage with this concept, would love to see them bring back their concept and style from the earlier days.
6. Seventeen: Cute concept? No problem. Boy-next-door concept? No problem. The charismatic and powerful concept? No problem. Seventeen has such a vast array of styles and concepts that it truly is challenging to choose which one they pull off the best, but what do you think? Would you prefer a concept similar to that of "_WORLD" or "Hot?"
Through these various concepts and styles, it's truly incredible to see just how versatile artists are within their field of work!
Only for Red Velvet, it doesn't matter what the concept is. They can pull it off. They haven't released a song that I didn't like.
