NMIXX's Sullyoon surprised her fans with peperos she made for her recording on Pepero Day.
November 11th is Pepero Day, which is an unofficial yet widely celebrated holiday in Korea. On this day, people exchange peperos (chocolate-covered cookie sticks) that resemble the date as a show of affection. Besides, K-pop idols are known to gift their fans during their promotion period to thank them for their support.
While Sullyoon did not have a song to promote on November 11th, she had her special stage recording for MBC's 'Show! Music Core.' She surprised her fans who were at the special stage recording to show her their support with peperos she made. It was reported it took her 7 hours to prepare.
NMIXX's official tweet wrote, "Thanks to Sullyoon's stick cookies, Music Core is filled with love <3"
Netizens reacted by leaving comments such as:
"Wow, a truly all-round idol who also knows to appreciate her fans."
"Bae also did something similar"
"All members of the group are really appreciative of their fans."
"This is on a whole different level from a can of kimchi."
"She baked cookies for her fans before too."
"I bet they are only going to be bigger. It's the small things like these that make the difference."
She made HER OWN gifts for her fans! How sweet!🤩
